Just finished a winter themed art piece

This is my latest piece based on winter and the spirit of deer. I decided to create this piece based on my driving up to State College from my small town. I see a lot of deer on the road, sadly, and this was why I wanted to create something to honor their spirits. You can view my work at redbubble!

One of my passions is illustrating animals and seeing them hit by cars always hurts your heart. This was my way of honoring some of those animals that have died by the neglect of highway designs. I really feel that we should try to have animal overpasses to allow safe passge for both animals and the safety of people. I haven't researched how many people are hurt every year, but I know many friends who have suffered from hitting animals, both physically and emotionally.
